An Angry Robot Cover Reveal
Story ARC: Standalone
Expected Publication: February 2013 by Angry Robot
There’s never been anyone - or anything - quite like Finn.Ya'll know how much I loooved The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke (releases October 2012), and while I'm uber excited for The Pirate's Wish, which is the sequel, I could do a little sci-fi à la Cassandra Rose Clarke in the meantime. And this cover looks so sad and lonely, and I seriously hope she doesn't make me snot my existence away after I drown in a pool of my own heartbroken tears. Clarke has a way of making you feel very deeply for the characters and she knows how to write really cutting and sympathetic ones as well. What do you think? Can this live up to the awesomeness we've come to expect from Clarke?
He looks, and acts human, though he has no desire to be. He was programmed to assist his owners, and performs his duties to perfection. A billion-dollar construct, his primary task is to tutor Cat.
When the government grants rights to the ever-increasing robot population, however, Finn struggles to find his place in the world.
